Zelda got Novice FAST last Sunday. Woohoo! No more Novice A for me. Both of us keep messing up on JWW and STD with little things unfortunately so hopefully we'll get those titles soon.
For fun here's Link's only Q run for the day. He is very leggy (not very Havanese) and is actually in 12" class. He is fast as heck. In fact he can only Q at the end of day because he is always too excited and fast in the morning. https://1drv.ms/f/s!AiuprhpTbQB9hPA6FaIZK9Ggjr56kw
Congratulations, Zelda! You and she BOTH did a great job! And you have my TOTAL respect that you can run your dogs on dirt. All of mine would either spend the whole time sniffing, or would just get down and roll! (Most of our trials here are in rubber matted buildings, so they never see dirt floors!)
Link is adorable too! Kodi was also a 12" dog. (He's 11 1/2" on the nose) But he didn't love agility. he got his NA and NAJ, and has 2 legs each in Open. But he obviously wasn't enjoying it, so I retired him from Agility, and just do Obedience and Rally with him now. Panda is learning, and seems to really like it, so I'm crossing my fingers that she'll be happier at trials than Kodi was!
I am glad we don't have problem then, since so far all the trials are on dirt (except the once a year major dog show that was on carpet)
Link is 12" at the withers! I was disappointed that he is so big and leggy and really not very havanese looking except his hair (Zelda is 9.5" in comparison). OTOH he is 15lb of pure athletic muscle and if I can get him better controlled he'd great at agility. He is just too excited and way too fast in the morning for both of us.
Wondering how another Hav agility team snuck in without me noticing  My 16 month old is currently in his 3rd session of agility classes and will be competing JWW as soon as his weave channels are closed (so so close!) Still a little bit apprehensive of the teeter, so it might be a little bit before we start standard. I have a thread somewhere around here full of videos...it needs updating though
