Sophie vs the blind cord

When I am working on the computer, Sophie hangs out in a wire crate on the desk next to me, with the window open so she can watch the neighborhood and smell the smells and nap.

When I opened the blinds, the cord got stuck on the edge of the crate and was almost within reaching distance to her. I of course watched her closely but was very entertained as she tried to get a hold of it through the wire. :laugh2:

I agree these little guys are so smart! She definitely did figure it out at the end, if it stops swinging she can hook her lower teeth into the hollow part under neath and nab it. Mean mom took it away.

This is why I never leave her unsupervised and not too sure I'll ever be able to safely leave her home alone lol

Linda I brush at least once a day, usually at night but I still can't get to her lower teeth well that darn tongue gets in the way. I can do her whole mouth with my finger but once a brush with yummy toothpaste on it she can't help but try to chew as I brush. We'll get there she's a work in progress! :)

Dee Dee, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER dip the cord bobbles in chicken broth! You've got a lot to learn kiddo!

Ricky ate a small bag of potato chips yesterday (including part of the bag), that was carelessly left within reach. :frusty: I have a lot to learn too!

BTW, he is perfectly fine 24 hours later and poop is normal, but he has the biggest grin from ear to ear! >:)

Maaaa-om! I finally get it and you take it away? Lol.

Lola managed to get part of a bag and a portion of a paper sandwich wrapper shredded into her crate yesterday. My friend put her lunch behind her seat in her van on the way to training. Lola wanted to share cuz the guy in the comercials said those little sliders are really good. :)

What you said about the chip bag reminds of something I heard on the news. This is just an FYI for everyone, and not meant to be critical of Popi.

There have been instances of dogs and wildlife suffocating in the mylar chip bags when they stick their heads in to get any leftover crumbs. It's suggested now to cut open both ends before tossing in the trash to prevent this from happening. They interviewed a woman who came home and found her dog suffocated this way. That would be so, so horrible!
