Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas !

I have spent the last three weeks making wreaths and other Christmas floral arrangements. Ive been seeing way too many commercials about black Friday and the radio is already playing holiday music. I think its time to say goodby to fall and all its glories.
I had never come across a leaf so beautiful and even tho it has faded I have a everlasting picture I wanted to share on Thanksgiving .

Wow, Suzi, what a beautiful and truly unique leaf! At least, I've never seen one like it. I, too, want to know what kind of tree it came from.

Thank you for sharing it.

I have no idea what kind of a tree it was. I hope to find out.

The tree is in front of my mothers new apartment. She said their are other trees on the property but didn't develop the beautiful leafs. Who knows the soil? I collected a whole bag full with the intention of pressing them and preserving them Ya sure like everything else that has been put on the back burner . I know where to go next year! I'll try to find out from the owners of the property.

I got a new job at Michaels craft store. I have been having a blast as their floral designer. I should take some pictures!
