It's been a while so I thought I'd give a quick update on Migo with a few pictures. At the sculpture garden yesterday everyone who passed by us commented on how well our little pup was doing on leash. We are lucky enough to be in an area with several pet and family friendly breweries, so he's had tons of exposure to other kids and different types of people.
Because he doesn't have his rabies shot yet, we had a hard time finding a daycare for him. The training facility will let him stay there on days we have class but it's a half hour away from work. I eventually found a really nice lady who owns a dachshund who would take care of Migo which really helped him get more exposure to dogs that included play. We have play dates with a couple who owns a Cavapoo pup that also attends our class.
Behaviorally he's doing pretty well. His primary issues are biting the comb or his harness. I think it's typical puppy stuff that will hopefully die down. Treats help of course but I thought that since I comb him daily he would get used to it by now. He's doing so well on his raw diet also.
We got a backpack to put him in but he's too small for it even with the booster! XD
