Smile Sleeping through the night

My little Lola is now 16 weeks and is the love of my life! I've had her for two months and she is completely potty trained and enjoys her crate at night. However, she still wakes up 1-2 times per night to use the bathroom outside. I always let her out several times a night and right before I put her in her crate. I also pull her water a few hours before bedtime as well. Whenever she wakes me to go out and "do business" she does always go and settles back to sleep very nicely. But, these wake-up calls at night are exhausting for me, not to mention she insists on waking up around 6am each morning for breakfast. Any suggestions to help Lola hold in her business through the night? Thanks!

wow she's cute! as her bladder gets bigger, she'll be able to hold it thru the night. maybe after 6 months old... don't worry you'll miss this stage. enjoy it while it lasts.

Thank you! Yes, as much as I'd like her to hold out through the night, I know my time with her as a puppy is precious!

Welcome, if you're having success, with this method, be patient ,she will sleep longer.

Thank you everyone! It's so great to have support/advice from other Havanese owners. The pictures of everyone else's Havanese are too cute!

Wow, it seems like she is a dream pup! What a good little girl. Sounds like you are doing everything perfectly. I wouldn't change anything. Just know with every month she will be able to hold it longer and longer. So there is a light at the end of the tunnel!

She is so cute. Give it another month or 2. Oscar is 6 months and can hold it through the night (and then some). It went really fast too... In a matter of a week or 2 he went from waking up at 4:30 am to now laying in bed with us until we are ready to get up (or by 8 on the weekends). I think our older dog is a bump on a log and HATES getting out of bed, so that helps too (Oscar LOVES his older brother).
