This is Abby and she is 4 months old. Precious and adorable. Chocolate nose and fur and green eyed. We are working to housebreak her. Nights are so good but the days... I spend most of my time going back and forth to the dog run trying to catch her and reward her!

She's a looker, that's for sure! The chocolates seem to ring true to their name in that they have the absolute sweetest personalities. Can't wait to see more photos :)

Every Hav will "carry" 4 months differently. There is already such a variation in sizes, and different lines mature at different rates, and even dogs with similar lines grow differently. Mario and Nino are related, but Mario is about 13 pounds fully grown and was probably around Abby's size at 4 montgs. Nino was 4 lbs 7 oz at 12 weeks and now weighs 7.5 lbs at 7 months. He's on the smaller end of the standard. We expect him to hang out right around 9-10 lbs.

Very interesting. Thanks. She is getting better about going out (treats!) but it is up to us to know when to take her out. And she goes 7 hours at night. Port thing is teething and tries to chew on everything including us. We have rawhide sticks etc. but the sofa is so much more challenging to gnaw on.:smile2: We are in love with her after only 10 days and cannot imagine our home without her.

May I recommend antlers for chewing . They actually clean dogs' teeth and dogs love them. Rawhides actually can increase the plaque and tarter... I say can because I don't know for sure if any have been created that don't yet...
My first Bichon lost all her teeth at 4 years and I blame rawhides (and this was when I was a teenager and had no idea about brushing my dogs teeth)

I went looking for antlers to try. Can you show a picture of one when its first purchased? I was afraid to give it to Rudy. They were really pointy on the ends and really hard. Also, my vet doesn't recommend rawhides because they are not digestible.
