Hi everyone,

It was March when i last posted to say i have my name down with a
breeder for our very first Havanese, Well!! we came home with 2 girls i
wanted a black and white girl but my DH wanted a golden girl so we got
the both of them lolx I found them very hard work at first but now i find
them a great deal easier oh do we love them!!

The black and white is Mollie and her sister is Maizie they are now 15 weeks
old and into everything they can get their mouth around.
They have just started to knock the bell i have to say i need to go for
a wee! and we have had them home since they were 8 weeks old so they
are getting there with fewer accidents.
I would just like to thank everyone who comes forward with their advice
and wisdom on these beautiful dogs i have learned so much from this
forum as i have never owned a Havanese before always GSD so thank you!

Oh Clare,
i found it so much easier with my GSD they didn't have as much enegy as these two
and wasn't as demanding either just so layed back, but i am loving every minute with
my girls. mamacjt, thank you at first i must admit i thought i had made a big mistake
bringing 2 of them home but i had read a great deal of advice on here and i bought a puppy pen well! a baby pen
which really helped me i never had one for my GSD and boy did they chew up.

Two!!! Two times the trouble or two times the fun! I think it's geared toward two times the fun! I once had two puppy mill dogs at the same time...with the exception of house training it was double the fun. Don't be surprised if one trains faster, each dog even when from the same litter is different. Can't wait to see more pictures of your two beautiful pups and hear about how they are getting along.

Congrats!!!

They are just beautiful!!! The first couple years are going to be hectic -- but twice the fun!! I envy you. I'd get another in a second if only I could get my husband to cave in! After GSDs, you are in for a whole different experience! Enjoy and please post more pictures!!!!

The breeder said Mollie should stay black with the white maybe going grey but when the light hits her coat there is a brown cast to it, myself i haven't got a clue havs are really a new breed to me and it will be a learning experiance for me. Maizie although classed as gold seems to be going white when i look at the base of her coat. They give me so much
joy and i am home with them all the time and i must admit i dont get a minute to myself
its like having two babies to care for as you guys will know that.
Thank you for your kind welcome to forum!! and i will post more photo's.
