Sandypaws came to visit Kodi today, and brought him a new squeaky doggy. He LOVES it... has been carrying it around all day!

You are very welcome Kodi. I'm so glad you like it and thought it was very cute when you came over, personally, and thanked me. That was awesome and made my day. You've done a super job with Kodi, Karen. He's a great dog and I know you're very proud of him as you should be.
Of course, it was also nice to see you again and to meet Dave this time. Good luck with your fish tank this weekend.

Oh darn...I live soooooooooo far away....two of my very favorite dogs....so close but so far away.
I have never ever saw another Havanese in person, except when I picked up these two at the breeders. So glad you had a good time even though we are all a little jealous.

Don't be too jealous girls, it wasn't a Havanese play date, just a people visit plus Kodi. Karen and I live an hour and a half away from each other so Tyler does not go with us when we go. At 15, that's a long ride for him and I know he's more comfy at home. Karen happens to live in the town my husband and I lived in for 40 years before moving to Cape Cod 7 years ago. (Small world, as they say). We go back there a few times a year and when I learned through Pam King that Karen lived there, I looked her up and gave her a call. She was gracious enough to invite my DH and myself over to meet her and Kodi, earlier this year. Today, was actually our second visit with them. I wish Tyler could meet Kodi, but I think it would be too stressful for him. So, if you want to be jealous, you can be because it was a very enjoyable visit and it is kind of cool to meet a "cyber buddy" in person, even though it wasn't a play date.

Maybe when spring rolls around again, Kodi and I could come down and go for a walk on the beach some warm day with you and Tyler. Then Tyler wouldn't have the long car ride, and Kodi is always gentle with other dogs!
