Surprise Hav/Maltese puppy video

I watched it a few times, just love his reaction. I know people don't think you should give a dog as a gift but I think this is an example of a perfect moment. It was well thought through by his son and wife and really meaningful for all of them. I saw an additional picture of him and the dog snuggling later in the day and he is really in love with his new friend

Anyone know which shelter the puppy came from? Was it a rescue or city/county shelter? He sure looks as if he is in heaven!
