Wonderful blocks! When is the 2013 deadline? What is the unfinnised size of the blocks? Is everyone designing their own blocks? That might be the hardest part for me. Anyone maybe willing to share some possible designs or where to look for Havanese designs? Thanks!

Hi Anna-
I am the lady who heads up the quilt project and am just seeing your post.

Things have been crazy busy for me lately and over the Holidays,but stay tuned for more fun photos of the quilt blocks (individual blocks) and when the quilt goes together I take more photos for a fun video. All of that will be coming up.
This particular quilt (Close Ups) was made in 2012 for the National in Chicago in August. It is donated to HRI to raise money for the havs in need.

We have voted our next theme in for 2013 and I think perhaps one or two ladies may have started their blocks already! (New theme is butterfly kisses)

I will be starting a thread for that theme a little later down the road to share photos in.

Everyone designs their own blocks within the guidelines and requirements for that particular theme. All of us are in a facebook group where I run the quilt from (it is much easier for me to post once and reach everyone) and if you would like to join in and make a block just let me know and I will add you to the group. Feel free to post here or send me a pm about anything you would like to know regarding our quilt project,theme etc. and I will gladly tell you what I know.

Christy joined us this year for the first time and did such a beautiful job....here is one of her blocks. She did a tail/hiney shot!

I am going to try to share all the blocks with you by adding a few each day. It takes forever it seems to shrink the images! :P
