ya, I think my husband really wants us to make something, along the lines of her bike 'basket' we made ... I see how it can be done, I just am not sure if it would be cozy enough... the snoozer sure looks cozy!!

Yeah, I'll second the motion for the Snoozer. Benjamin loves to look out and see where we're going next! I don't have the console one, though, just the regular one. He weighs somewhere between 13 and 14 pounds, and I got the medium. Very easy to install and fits in a Toyota Corolla front seat. I rarely use it for passengers, though, I just tell 'em that's Benjamin's seat, and they'll have to take their own car. Though I sometimes make an exception and make Benjamin ride in the back, but he prefers to be up front with me and I do like to make my baby happy.

Tammy - PETCO is having an online sale right now!! Looks like a good deal!! And it says it's good for dogs up to 12 lbs! I don't think an inch too large is a big deal. It will squeeze in.

thanks Loraine! it looks like the same price as the one on Amazon... but the sizes are different. the petco one says it is 14 inches wide which would NOT fit our console. the 12 inch we could squeeze... so now I'm confused, is the large console snoozer 12 inches wide or 14!?? lol

They do "give." I'm thinking it would fit.

I have a console seat and I like it, this is the one we have:
http://www.wayfair.com/Snoozer-Pet-P...X-SZR1096.html
I like it because she can see, she is happy because she is close to me, and if we are on a roadtrip, there is someone in the passenger seat to help tend to her if she gets ants in her pants or needs something.
She still, of course, prefers my lap, but she can cuddle up in this and sleep, seh is about Tillie's size, so it should fit. I also ordered a bigger one, but sent it back because it wouldn't fit in my car.
