Not Eating When Mom in Bed

I was pretty sleepy and tired one morning, so asked my husband to feed the boys. Well, it turns out that the boys will not eat if I am in bed, but they will eat if I am in the Living Room.

Any other Havs out there like this?

Riley prefers if I stand nearby and watch him eat. If I walk away he will repeatedly stop eating and come to check on me. I get the "nose kiss" on my leg, then he goes back to his bowl. I guess we are an important part of the meal.

Whimsy has a hard time when I have been in and out of the hospital several times since we have had her, in which case I tell my husband to put a few pieces of chicken on top to get her started. She is not happy but it works out ok. As long as I'm in the house somewhere she is fine.
