This is very true at my house, too. Including when I want to take a relaxing bath and I am being stared down by two big brown eyes
I also cannot seem to ever take a nap; on the rare occasion that I am in need of a rest and also have the time to do so, Dionna will come on the bed, walk all over me, paw at my head, try to sit on the pillow near my head, will try to climb my torso like it is a mountain to summit. It makes me laugh, albeit a weary laugh.

That's how I get woken up every morning by Zoey and someday s its only 4:30. The worst habit mine do is put their paws on my vegetable drawer they know their baby carrots are in their.
Yep! Yogi comes in for petting while I potty, Boo lays down outside the door...as I come out of the bathroom, she rolls over on her back....I call it the Boo Toll Booth...ya gotta pet her tummy to pass. She sets up the toll booth between the kitchen and livingroom too...there's a price to pay if you wanna go any further! As for nappy time, anytime that I have the house to myself and feel like a little nap, I curl up on the couch, and the girls curl up around me, and we all nap peacefully until someone disturbs us!
Aww....so true. I have not peed, slept, cooked, done laundry, or taken a nap since getting Indy. I do shut the door when I shower.....but guess who's waiting for me on the other side of the door when I'm done?!?!?
Kodi follows me when I go to the bathroom, and if I nap, he wants to snuggle quietly under the blanket with me, so I LIKE that. As far as the shower is concerned... We have a big open shower... No door or shower curtain, and Kodi stays FAR away. I think he's afraid that if he gets too close we might invite him in for the dreaded B A T H !!!ound:
My guys used to do this, but they have gotten a bit more independent since they are older now. According to Havanese rescue, Bella is a senior! I saw a dog her age on there and he was labeled a senior. Funny, I don't think of her as an old gal
Max will always follow for a bathroom visit although he seems to have a sixth sense if it is for a shower then he hovers outside the door but won't dare come in - just in case he gets a surprise bath !!!
I haven't done anything in the bathroom alone since 1986!! Beau has just taken up where his predecessor left off. The really bad part of it is that I tend to forget to close the bathroom door in other people's homes! Now that can get embarrassing!
bwhahahha. seriously. On Christmas day I was peeing and had closed the door, but not latched it ... ya, mid-pee the door pops open and Tillie marches right in. bwhahahahha. oops!
Rosie still waits by the door, but the darn cat gets through before me and is constantly rubbing my legs and purring. I hate it. I think I am going to get a squirt gun to make him back off.
