Just wanted to add a correction to a post above, it's Dr. Jean Dodds not Dobbs.

hot off the press..... http://www.dogsnaturallymagazine.com...ters-ebook.pdf
attention to this quote from the article ... " Immunological
science informs us that, once an animal has
ever had a protective antibody level, as indicated
by a protective titer, that animal is almost
certainly protected for life, at least for the major
diseases (CDV, CPV, and canine hepatitis virus)."

Thanks Dave. Similar to another article you sent me, but an easier read. I need to firgure out what to do when it's time for Bella's and Scud's titers. I almost think I am done with vaccines. I feel like they have had way too many at this point......With Fred's reaction to the rabies shot, it really has me concerned

Dave,
I'm confused......
I went online and search for DHPP and came up with 4 different things

D = Distemper
H = Hepatitis
P = parainfluenza
P = Parvovirus

At Dr. Jean Dodd's website ,its only mentioned about the Distemper and Parvovirus....and how about the "H" and other "P"
and what is MLV stands for?

That's correct, it's a multivalent vaccine.

Dr Dodds is in favor of only vaccinating against single diseases at a time if at all possible, so you would use products like these for example, spaced apart:
http://www.revivalanimal.com/Neopar.html
http://www.revivalanimal.com/NeoVac-D.html

There are also a parvo/distemper combo vaccines:
http://www.revivalanimal.com/Progard-Puppy-DPv.html

But the fewer diseases covered in a single vaccine, the better

here's her views on hepatitis http://drjeandoddspethealthresource....n#.U6Hs5Y1OXIV
