He barks at anything new or out of place in his house. My hubby left a tape measure on the floor after hanging some curtains and he barked at it. We tried giving him an empty Gatorade bottle as a toy once (no label) and he wouldn't touch it, just sat there and barked at it.

Henry is the exact same way - anything new, or something he has not seen before. It is the look of suspicion that he gives that cracks me up. He specifically has to back and protect me from large appliances or roasting pans on the kitchen counter.
He is looking SO cute and grown up!! I like the way his hair cut has grown out!!

bwhaha. I wonder why he responds that way with something new in his environment ... I wonder if it's something you can train away?? Just "in case" there are a LOT of new things coming to his environment at some point in the future?

Not that time, but he has since. I can't decide if I'm gonna wait til Christmas Eve to put any presents under there, or if we're going to start putting them under there now and put the ex pen around it all.
