Emmie Update
Three weeks ago, Emmie turned a year old. She's a wee little thing, only 8 lbs., and is confident, bossy, and loves to cuddle. Her best friend is a Miniature Schnauzer named Riley, who is practically the same age, so his mom and I threw a birthday party for our fur babies the weekend before the Super Bowl. It was held at the studio where they attended puppy kindergarten and we invited a bunch of friends who also have small dogs (e.g. Beagle/Chihuahua mix, Boston Terrier, Chihuahua, 2 Havanese, Miniature Schnauzer, Poodle/Yorkie mix, 2 Portuguese Podengos, & Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix). Eileen's puppy Benjamin was there and all dogs and humans had a GREAT time. We even had a birthday cake shaped like a bone and gave gift bags to the dogs as they were leaving.
Here are pictures of Emmie from early Jan 2013 (before her hair was shaved off), modeling some of her favorite outfits.

Emmie and her best friend Riley sharing a crate in the back of his mom's SUV. This was taken last weekend after we took them to an indoor dog park for small dogs - Yappy Hour.
