Anyone use SafePaw for snow melting?

It's snowing here and at some point during the winter my driveway will be a sheet of ice - black ice they call it. It's trecherous and eventually I will be forced to put something down to melt it so I can walk around without getting killed. But I'm worried about Henry's paws! Salt is so corrosive. Has anyone heard of SafePaw? Is it safe? Does it work to melt ice? Is it really safe for dogs? Would appreciate any advise. Thanks ahead of time!

Hi Nancy ,yeah if it's the one I am thinking of ,it is a great idea. It's a little more expensive but definitely dog friendly. Good for you. I think it's more environmentally friendly as well. Same as dog friendly antifreeze. Regular antifreeze is EXTREMELY DEADLY. And the worst thing about it is that dogs like the taste of it. Always make sure your driveway has no puddles from a leaking radiator. Watch parking lots too when walking your dog.
