Qualities of a GREAT vet

I am seriously thinking about switching vets. Reasons:
1. Recommends feeding Purina puppy chow
2. Encouraged hubby to use a more "stern" voice (yell) at Chi Chi
3. Rolls his eyes (literally) at vaccine concerns
4. Would not even consider laser spay
Maybe not huge but I want to make an effort to provide the best quality of care. Does anyone have suggestions for vetting the next one?

I agree completely. I found our wonderful holistic vet by referal from all the dog sport people in our area. Most everyone uses her! (Or at least the practice she works for)

Thanks for the affirmation. I discussed with Hubby last night and he told me he once inquired about how to get in touch in case of emergency and was told he would probably be able to find someone online. Yep, time to go.
