Regurgitation

I need a little advice and some peace of mind. help. As some of you know I have 2 Havs and 1 spoiled Shih Tzu.

Recently my Shih Tzu Harry has been regurgitating his food right after meals and some treats. I know it is not vomiting, because it comes right back up as soon as he eats and there are no stomach fluids with it, just whole food that has not been chewed and some slobber. This is not the first time that he has done this. He has some episodes here and there throughout his 6 years. I think it is probably from him eating way to fast and not chewing his food. He is very bad about gobbling things down. I need some help as to how to deal with this. I have just recently put him on a slow down bowl and that seems to help some. Anybody out there have a pup that does this? and any tips to help him slow down would be appreciated. At this point it is just plain frustrating!

Just to make you feel al little better, my mom's 4 YO tzu Maddie occasionally throws up after she eats. She hardly ever chews her food and swallows things in huge chunks. I think she eats too quickly and it catches up to her.

Beth, Pixie Puff and MiG too
