Dora's vet visit and follow ups

Dora went to her annual vet visit yesterday. We got her titer tested again and will hear the results in another week. She got an excellent check on the patellas which I was very excited about. With doing agility, the vet recommends that she eventually see a chiropractor because of the tightness on the body. Has anyone done this with their dogs?

We also talked about CD and havanese. He said Dora's legs felt straight, he was very happy with her muscle tone too. He said she was in great shape but we still decided to do a blood panel. He highly recommends doing the junior panel every year to be preventative. I love this vet and hope we find another good one when we move.

One of the most common issues he said toy dogs have is with their teeth. He said he has done dentals on cavaliers where their teeth fall right out <ewww> The product he recommended starting Dora on was Leba III. Has anyone used this product?

Our vet is into really natural products and supplements and I prefer this route. Dora's teeth are fine now but I really want to prevent any issues.

I'm glad to hear it went well! Sounds like you have a GEM of a vet.

I think the natural route is the way to go with teeth. I bought an all natural toothpaste, but I'm not familiar with the one you mentioned. Let us know how it is!
