We can now add to the subject line... "Clover home Post-Op! And making me CRAZY!!"
I am so glad he feels so good so soon after surgery, really I am. But, no matter how good he feels, he is just not allowed to run or play right now. I brought him in from a potty break today and he started bouncing around and grabbed a toy. I grabbed him up right away - I'm not going to lie, I'd hate for him to re-injure it because I don't want him to suffer more, but also that bald little knee sometimes just looks like $$ - and of course he just tried to push off my leg and then yelped in pain. He seems fine but - UGH.
Last time I got a nice week-long post-op lull before I had to wrestle him to the ground on a multi-daily basis. Sadly, he's not much of a chewer, so there is no stash of bones or other toys that can entertain him sitting still. He just wants to RLH.
I am thinking that once the stitches come out, there are some nearby beaches he can swim at - he even has a life jacket - so that will help. But there's just not a lot I can do from now until then!

People in the dog show world know me as Karen, but the rest of the world knows me & I will introduce myself as Kat... I've been showing dogs longer than I've had the nickname, and the nickname is not new!
