Question Pet insurance

What is more important?

Accident or illness insuarnce?

Is 2500 a accident and 2500 per year for Illness ok?

Trying to figure out which insurance to go with.

its between Petplan and PC insurance.

Thanks,
Ryan

I'm seriously considering insurance too. What with everything that goes in his mouth, there is bound to be an issue down the road sooner or later. It's a gamble

I have info on VPI Pet insurance at petinsurance.com. This has a $50 deductible for each incident.

ASPCA insurance at aspcapetinsurance.com has a yearly $100 deductible.

I think I would get both also.

We are considering insurance.....wish I had it right now.....had to take my maltese, Lexie, in yesterday.....seems somehow she pulled one of her claws on her back left foot almost out.....it bled and bled....thank goodness they didn't have to remove it. They just cut it down and bandaged it. She comes home tomorrow. She had to be sedated plus all the antibiotics, etc. Haven't gotten the grand total yet.....

Oh yeah, for sure im getting accident and illness. Some plans are better for one or the other though. Just want to make sure i'm properly covered.

I think its a must. Some people might think twince about going to the vet if they have no insurance. But if you have it, you go! Peace of mind in my books.

I got the ASPCA plan for mine. I didn't get the one that included routine care, I just got one for accident/injury. I am sending in my first bill, which will just go towards the deductible.
