Is your Havvie acting strange?

Won't eat
Won't sleep
Won't play
Seems agitated and paces the floor

Try checking the batteries in the smoke detectors and CM detectors. They can hear the warning beeps when a battery is going dead before we can.

Benjy told us one of ours in the basement was giving low-battery beeps before we heard them. Actually, don't wait until there is a problem. Change the batteries regularly.

That is behavior Id consult my vet about. I had a similar situation my vet found elevated liver enzymes and fluid in the belly.

Tucker has a terror of the smoke alarms beeping with a low battery! It took my Mom three days to figure out why Tucker wouldn't come inside when she was watching him for a week. He would run to the back fence line and not leave it, she'd have to go out and carry him back inside. The basement smoke alarm was beeping, slowly, randomly.

Gracie also has an aversion to the smoke detector low battery signal. She will either hide under the bed or scratch the kitchen door to go outside to get away from it.
