Help Racquet threw up and peed in crate

Racquet threw up and peed in his crate some time during the night or early hours. He made no sound, did not whine, cry or bark. When I opened the crate this morning it was soaking wet everywhere to include the carpet
outside the crate . It looked like he peed several times and threw up twice, as some also landed on the carpet outside the crate.
He did not seem sick snd bounded down the stairs. He has never wet his crate . Infact he has not had an accident in the house for months. He will be six months old next week.
Your advice is needed.
Thanks
Elayne

Maybe he ate something that did not agree with him? I had the stomach flu (or some sort of food poisioning) last weekend, and honestly.. had very LITTLE control over my 'movements'..if u know what i mean

Poor Racquet! What did he throw up? Do you think he ate something he shouldn't have? I'm glad he is feeling better now. Something must have been bothering him...

If you are concerned it might happen again and you have an x-pen, you could try confining him to the x-pen at night, with a pee pad in the corner, and leave the door to his crate open so he can go in there if he wants to. But then he won't be "trapped" in there in case he vomits again.

Perhaps Raquet has some sort of Bug or something...It's Odd for Him to pee in the crate and then lay in it. It might mean that he was really feeling unwell if he didn't let you know somehow that he had to go.

Elayne, it sure sounds like your baby is sick to me!! If Raquet does not seem to be better today, I would make a call to the vets. You might want to put a vinal tablecloth or drop cloth under his crate for a night or two till you figure this out. Keep us advised.

If he acts normal the rest of the day, then I think it was probably something he ate that you didn't see. They are very tricky, these Havs.

Elayne, how is Racquet doing? What is the latest on how he's feeling?

I hope things are well now.

Elayne, I hope Raquest is doing better. Was it just an overnight bug?
