Really Good Treats

Well I thought I would share pics of these treats with everyone since Radar loves them soooo much. I got them at a Pet Value up the Street. Radar goes nuts for them. They are rather hard so they might be suitable for the chewing Hav if you have some furniture you want to save because of teething. I got some really good pics as well on the Digital Macro Setting on My Wifes Canon SD700 IS.

They look good enough for us to eat!! With a little bbq sauce on them of course.

I just made my first dog treats today!! Decided to give it a shot and made salmon treats with egg, parsley, sesame seed and sunflower seeds, some whole wheat flour. The house still stinks!!! LOL

I cut them in small squares, about the size of a brownie, but much flatter, and they took a few seconds ,but did eat them. Froze half so we'll see how it goes.

There is no Petsmart in Quebec, but I have found many great whole food snacks at some stores. Sometimes the dog food is better than ours!! lol

Yeah these treats actually smell pretty good too...like a peice of jerky...probably beef or some sort of teryaki flavour and Radar really goes nuts for them. The good thing about them is that they can be snapped in half to last longer and then make pretty good treats for walks.

I use these ones for training...Radar really likes them and they have this all natural herbal formula for calming the dog down during training sessions.
