PARVO? Should I be nervous?

All this talk about PARVO on the rise - especially in the south - is making me very nervous about our upcoming stay in Florida. Henry gets his titers measured and hasn't had the vaccine since he was a puppy. Is that enough? Should I be vaccinating him for extra protection? All the posts about this are talking about puppies being at risk but what about older dogs? Thanks for all you sage advise in advance. Maybe I'm just a nervous nellie.

If titers are OK you don't have to be nervous. Older dogs can get parvo, but it is not a life threatening like in puppies. I would give him some immunity boosting stuff like beta glucane or Transfer Factor.

An adult dog will not get very sick if he contracts parvo, might not even notice it. You do have to be very careful with geriatric and puppys. If the titers are good, probably he's covered.
