Notice: The Arlington County Code prohibits more than three dogs per household, unless approved by the zoning administrator and a kennel license has been obtained.
If your dog is more than four months old, it must be vaccinated against rabies and be licensed with the County.
This is required by Virginia Law and the Code of Arlington County
Service dogs are not required to obtain an Arlington County dog license.
I live in Arlington County, no choice but to vaccinate for rabies.
These discussions though about to vaccinate or not vaccinate remind me of discussions that parents have when it comes to the link between autism and vaccinations in children.
Sometimes health issues and concerns are completely out of your control, no matter how healthy you are living and how many precautions you take. I've seen people who eat healthy food and exercise and don't smoke, and they still get cancer. And then other people smoke daily and are overweight and eat junk food, and they don't get cancer.
I appreciate the concern though about vaccinations.
