Saving fido - tainted dog treats

Saw this on tv today.

Has to do with tainted so treats, especially the chicken jerky.

Thanks Rocky. yeah it's turned me right off from buying treats. I buy one type ,but the more we realize that human grade food is the safest , the better.

For training treats I've started just buying a cheap cut of meat and grilling it on the BBQ, cutting it up in tiny pieces and storing it in the freezer in ziplock bags. Last week was liver, this week is pork chops. It's actually cheaper than packaged treats without all the garbage (and potential harmful chemicals).

I can't believe they still sell these made in china dog treats but i seem them on the grocery store shelves, and at pet smart.

I as thinking maybe pick up a food dehydrator and dehydrate my own treats.
