Rosie ate from th garbage--onions

Well Friday night we had to keep my GD's little kitten because it couldn't go to the other GP's house. Anyway, Jethro and Rosie were not getting along with it and it was so little that Saturday I put Jethro and Rosie downstairs. My DIL came to get the kitten and visit for a while. Afterwards we went to the movies. Rosie started vomiting about bedtime and kept it up until it was just foam. I could't imagine what it was. It looked like potatoes with lots of a tube thing cut every 1/2 inch. I couldn't imagine. I was ready to blame my neighbors for throwing something over the fence where Rosie could get it. Anyway, I saved some and washed it off. That is when I realized that the tube things were green onions (scallions). Well I called the DIL and asked if the kids had come into the house with any food. Then she said that when she had come in, that some animal had been in the trash bag that was setting by the door to be taken out. She said that rather then upset me, she cleaned it all up. Then I knew--it was Krogers potato salad, about a cup full left in the container and rib bones also. So my hound Rosie ate onions and cooked bones sometime Sat. and didn't get sick until that night. She got up Sunday morning wanting her food and ran outside to potty. I haven't seen anything wrong with her since. DH got in trouble for nt taking out the trash and my sweet DIL thought she was doing me a favor by cleaning up the mess. Had I kown I would have taken her to a vet and probably spent a lot of money, but nature took care of it all.

That Rose I cant believe she would be so naughty. I'm glad she is okay and your husband hasn't had to spend to much time in the dog house.
