Huge Relief

I have read about, talked about, researched, and generally stressed about vaccinations since we got Lucy. Since she has become a therapy dog, the group I was with was insisting we vaccinate our dogs annually wich made the stress all that more.

I finally made the decision. At no cost was I going to needlesly vaccinate my dogs. I was ready to quit therapy and everything.

I got her titers done. I told the therapy group I wasn't going to vaccinate. The therapy group said they'd look into their policy again and that we could continue visiting. Her titers came back showing she was totally protected.

I made the right decision. I stood up to old beliefs and I feel GREAT! My Lucy is healthy (in this respect....still dealing with food allergies) and still doing therapy.

I'm HAPPY!

Good for you, Diann!!! As long as people just "go with the flow", and don't stand up for best practices concerning vaccinating their pets, some vets and many other places like therapy programs, boarding facilities, etc., will continue to expect unnecessary and unhealthy levels of vaccination for our beloved animals!

Good for you Dian - if we didn't have to travel internationally we would totally not vaccinate!
