laser therapy

So Bear got his first laser treatment today, and I wanted to know if anyone else has had this done.

For those of you not familiar with sweet little Bear, he has hip dysplasia and his back legs do not bend-the knee joints are fused together. He gets around just fine...kinda looks like a peg legged pirate when he walks. We adopted him about a month ago from Havanese Rescue. He had been seeing a specialist in Texas (where he was being fostered), and today our vet reviewed all his old records and x-rays and recommended we give laser therapy a try (in addition to glucosamine).

Anyone here gone the laser route?

What a wonderful thing you did when you adopted Bear. Best of luck with him and any of the therapy he has. I'll bet he's one happy little guy. BTW, how are he and Bama getting along? We haven't heard much from you lately, but I'll bet you have your hands full. Keep us posted.

It always amazes me when people say its wonderful that we adopted Bear. To me it's no different than adopting any other dog...he is a sweet handsome and adorable havanese...who just happens to have a little set of stairs he uses to get up on the bed and sofa.

He and Bama are doing great. They had a play date yesterday with the new neighbor's dogs, and this past weekend they had one with a Yorkie, kitten and human toddler.

Having two pups does keep me away from posting as much. I even have a new desktop so I can post pictures more easily, but with two puppies now there's just not as much time. ;-)
