Pebbes spayed and toy issue

Pebbles was spayed today and had her hernia fixed and two baby teeth pulled.
I asked the vet to check her intestines and feel the stomach for that "swallowed magnetic letter".

The vet called to say she is up and about and the surgeries went well. He also felt no toy in her and doesn't believe she swallowed one at all.. So I guess it will remain a mystery but this is a relief to us.

I am anxious to pick her up at 4:15. I miss her. I hope she behaves now and stays off the furniture.

Roe, I'm glad Pebbles is doing well after her spay. I know you'll be happy to get her home where she belongs. I know it's a giant relief when that spay surgery is over.

Roe, I am so glad that Pebbles did well with her surgery. When Lily was spayed, she too had a hernia repair. Just keep an eye on her for a few days to be sure she doesnt jump. I am sure you will be relieved to have her home tonight!!

Thank you everyone. Pebbles is doing fine. She was very groggy last night and had a blank stare on her face. She even looked different to me. She barely moved and I gave her a few spoonfuls of babyfood and she ate it and she licked an ice cube. At 4:45 am she decided she was better and woke up. I heard her already licking at her incision so I quickly got up and put a onesie on her.

She got up at 7 this morning almost back to normal. She is eating just fine and drinking, out of the faucet only lol She already tried to climb on the couch three times and she jumped off once very slowly before I could stop her. This is the only problem I am going to have with her. she is bored....

I talked with the vet and he said her incision is small and he couldn't feel real well her intestines etc to see if there was actually a letter inside her or not. He feels that it would have shown up by now but if it is either going to cause a problem or not. IT is still just a waiting game. I have to believe that by now she is fine.

Thanks again
Roe
