Snippet 10

FDA states "“We know that the illnesses and deaths reported are mostly linked to jerky pet treats sourced from China. Pet owners should be aware, however, that manufacturers do not need to list the country of origin for each ingredient used in their products" . whole story http://www.dogsnaturallymagazine.com...6bb2313f6524b7

I know. Scary, isn't it? Many Chinese mothers won't feed their babies formula made in China. That says something right there!

It really is scary stuff. I've just bought a food dehydrator, which, if it ever arrives, I intend to use for making my own jerky for the dogs, and whatever else I can get up to to make sure they have such extras in as unadulterated a form as possible. Look forward to treats for myself, too! Dried fruit and things like that...

That's one of the reasons I ended up with Honest Kitchen as a mixer for Kodi's fresh, organic chicken. HK doesn't source ANYTHING from outside the U.S. Sojos, has, on occasion. I don't think Balance-It does either.
