Ant Bites

I feel sooooo bad. My poor little Harley got into a bad ant bed while we were out walking. I didn't even notice there was one there. I was talking to the neighbor and looked down and he was covered. I ran inside and washed him immediately. Poor baby! I feel like a bad mommy. He has lot's of bites on his tummy, but he seems fine.

Call the Vet to see if you can give Benadryl for itching or discomfort. You know how ant bites are....this is what I would do.

What we have done is walk along the path you normally walk your dog....go WITHOUT the dog and sprinkle some of the Andro Ant Killer stuff (it only takes a little around the hill); get the hills while they are small.

It is the really GREAT stuff!

Thank you.... I will do that. I feel so bad for Harley, but like I said, he seems perfectly fine. He is the love of my life. Soon I will learn how to post a picture of him.

They said that if he was itching a lot to give benedryl. Otherwise, they will go away on their own. In fact, this morning, most all the bites are gone. He is actually sitting in my lap now as I am typing. I would say he's a spoiled little boy. Love him. Thank you for your concern. You have a beautiful baby.

I am so glad the ant bites did not drive him crazy....like the ant bites drive us crazy with itching! Thank you for your compliment on my beautiful semi spoiled Dexter.

We are learning "Drop it" and "Take it" today.
