Still trying to figure out the itching

Sophie is still scratching a lot. I have given her antihistamine from Vet, frequent bathing with medicated shampoo and fully drying her (phew) changing her protein, and watching as the season is changing to see if there are any clues along the way. This has gone one for about 3 months now without much of a change.

So I got to thinking, she has quite a full coat (her moms is very long and full and Sophie looks like she'll have her moms coat). We are on the go all the time and play a lot with the water hose, plus she snoops around the yard in the morning when dew on the grass so her face/beard get wet a lot. Any thoughts her about her itching being due to wet beard? Skin looks fine...(but then my Hallie's did too and she had seasonal allergies) and she is not scratching any other part of her body than head, ears, face most common the side of her face and under chin.

I've not had a bearded breed before so don't know if being wet a lot can cause this but am hoping so as that would be much better than allergies.

She is 8 months old now.
