Yes, Tammy, He's affectionately known among the WCR crowd as the "flying furball" It's not a problem as long as he doesn't touch me as he pops into a finish. The trouble is that if he's overexcited, he often pushes off against my leg. If the judge SEES that (sometimes they don't, with all the flying hair! ) they are supposed to take points off for it.

Karen thank you so much for your reply. Copy, paste and save for future reference. I'm sure the trainers at my center would be helpful with some of this info if they knew I was working toward rally or obedience trials, but wow you're a wealth of info. I've signed up to volunteer at some future agility and rally trials my club is hosting, I figure that's a great way to learn. I'm going to look over the course map and score sheet over coffee tomorrow morning.

Volunteering at some trials is a GREAT way of learning more about it... and trials can't be run without lots of volunteer help!
