Last week's trial

It's been such a busy week, I never remembered to post Kodi and Panda's runs from last weekend. Kodi didn't Q, because he lay down during the group sit stay, but I don't care. The rest of his work was really lovely!:

Then Panda got her second Beginner Novice leg with a score of 194. She was tied for second, but we decided not to do the run-off so took home third:

Kodi is such a handsome, steady boy, so fun to watch-a surprise to hear he broke his sit/down, but glad to know it didn't bother you. And Panda is such a little girl, still. :-D It was fun to see her pay such good attention while being so interested in whatever was going on outside the ring. What a little sweetie.

Wow Karen. I just love the way Kodi's attention is just riveted on you. I can tell you have put in a ton of work on him. Panda too. I made the effort to train my corgi, Foxy. I remember working with her daily. We never competed but she was always in the top of her training class. You have done amazing work!

I love watching Kodi's tail while he is working - both the slow wave and the woo-hoo happy tail.

What was going on outside the ring is that a steward had tipped over the ring gating and knocked over two metal folding chairs with broad jump boards on them RIGHT beside us the previous day. She NQ'd that day (quite understandably) but I think she was still pretty concerned about what might crash down in that corner! LOL!

Thanks! He's been a great dog to learn with! Panda hasn't had to put up with nearly as many mistakes! LOL!
