Thanks, Karen! Bummed we missed each other again this year. Next year is not looking likely for us, given the dates and location...2020? Or maybe we will make another trip east before then. Hope Australia treated (or is treating) you well!
Me too! I enjoyed all the photos and news updates, even though I couldnít be there! And I donít think the dates OR the distance will work for us next year... I donít think itís fair to make my dogs travel all the way to Las Vegas and then ask them to perform. Thatís an ugly trip from here! Chicago is already a two day trip. And I always have a committment mid Oct. so hile Iím glad that they moved it to Oct. for those who WILL be there, I doubt very much that weíll make it. If 2020 is a reasonable drive, Iíll sure try! And if you do come east, we have a number of lovely ďclustersĒ at a great fair grounds facility in central MA, where they run obdedience, rally, agility and conformation, all in ac, and good footing! You should set your sights on one of those! Lots of dog-friendly hotels nearby too.
I didnít realize that Annie and Shama were there too! Thatís great! Hope they had fun too!!!
Australia was AMAZING! ...except for over 30 hours of flying and a 14 hour time change to get home. I donít think I have two brain cells firing at a time right now.
A friend came and washed and combed out Kodi and Panda twice while I was gone, and the lady who took care of the, on week days also combed them out every other day. So their coats were in beautiful shape when I got back. Panda blew a lot of coat in her last heat, and itís JUST starting to grow back. Iíd hate to be yanking out hair in a dematting session now! (One good thing about boys is that the hormones are constant, so donít affect their coat so much!) For THAT reason, Iím glad she wasnít entered at the specialty... she looks like a puppy right now... fluffy, but not much length to her coat!
