Maddie and I enjoyed our Fourth of July morning. We were on an ARF float for therapy dogs for a local parade. Thank goodness the weather wasn't as hot as last year. The float had several therapy dog teams plus several teams walked the 1.2 mile route to interact with the crowd. Here's a couple of pics from the parade. The lady with the very short hair is the head of the therapy dog program. The lady with the crazy antennae is one of my partners for our nursing/Alzheimer's visits. Maddie enjoyed the parade and didn't even mind that a flag was stuck in her vest for the festivities. The girl always thinks all events are staged just for her.
What did you all do for the Fourth? Any fun things?
What a great way to spend the 4th. Maddie looks great as usual! She really seems to enjoy herself everywhere you take her. You can see her spirit right through that smile of hers!
I Love her with that flag sticking out of her vest.
ha ha that is so cute she thinks all events are staged for her!!
