I cut back to 1/4 c x 2 times a day = 1/2 c of food per day. Topped with a few HK Crunches and Chicken!!! Takes some experimenting on the amount.

To clarify I alternate between Beef and Chicken, along with different broths for variety.
Willow gets 1/4 c. 2 times per day also. She gets beef mixed with water. No broth her. Of course she gets treats during the day also. My husband sneaks some cooked vegies during dinner too.

Sorry!! OOPS! CORRECTION: I started out feeding Patti a Heaping -1/4 C x 2 times/day = 1/2 Cup a day of dehydrated food.

BUT ... cut back to a Heaping 1/8th C x 2 times/day = 1/2 Cup of Honest Kitchen because she threw it up the larger amount and I thought it was too much.

However, I do add about 2TBs of broth plus water, 10 HK Kibble type of Crunches and a few cooked chicken pieces.

For those that don't know: The 18th Cup of dehydrated food turns into about 1/2 C of food when hydrated.

Patti, also, gets a few treats during the day. A Favorite: a small carrot the kids give her after school. Yummy! It's good from throwing around to play with and sometimes she eats it.

Our trainer told us to try pineapple in the food. If you don't want to switch to all new food, maybe try grinding up some pineapple and adding that to your current food. There is something about the pineapple apparently that deters the puppy from eating their stools. Probably the smell I'd imagine.

Caveat: Duke stopped doing this so we haven't actually tried it to see if it works. Now if I could only get him to stop STEPPING in his poop ever time he goes!!

Our vet told us about the pineapple, but sadly it didnít work. She seems to not be interested one day, then crazy about it the next. Iíll take the one day because itís better than no days. Suffice it to say, these dogs are worth the trials and tribulations. They are the best!
