My first Havanese painting

I have over 40 (pet portrait) ornament orders to finish before Christmas!
I was so happy to get an order for a Havanese, darling little Rosie. Thought I'd share.

Thanks I can't get the detail on ornaments that you can on regular portraits but they are still a lot of fun to paint.

Keanu I ship these all over the world just have to calculate shipping.
I would love to visit Holland I'm into Friesian horses bet you have great ones there a know of several stallions here who were imported. We took some to the beach and got some awesome photos here is a painting I did of one. Beautiful horses.

Was there a rider on him? How did you do that? The painting is awesome!

No rider but didn't have a halter and long line. I don't paint people so didn't want too much tack on him. One of the geldings I photographed was actually loose on the beach, rearing, etc etc which was just beautiful. He is trained for liberty. Here is a photoshop image I did of Sophie and Tino both were at the beach the same time but of course Sophie and Tino the horse were never actually together.

OMG ... breathtaking!!! The trainer wasn't Rex Peterson, by any chance?
