Lazy bums!!

For the past few days Capote has been doing this thing where he just doesn't want to get out of his nice warm bed in the morning.. (even when they've had a good 8 hours of sleep) once I coax him out he's fine so I know he's not sick or anything..I think he just doesn't want to get out of bed. ...like the 17.5 year old he is in dog years (really 2.5 years old..) Taylor follows him so if he lays in so does she...

Anyone else have lazy bums in the morning??

Mindy

Lol, don't complain! Thats what makes the perfect dog Yoshi, my 2 year old Pap, goes off like trip alarm whenever he hears stirring downstairs. He's corrupted Gizmo, my lazier Pap who wouldn't jump out of the bed until I got out of bed.

Boo is the same way!! And he's learned a new way to get even more stay in the bed time in the morning. The first thing I do when I get up is make the bed, so the means Boo has to get out. He used to stand around and watch now, he sneaks into the guest bedroom and snuggles in! My hubby likes to deposit baskets of unfolded laundry there sometimes and Boo loves to bury himself in the clothes/towels. One time he hid himself so well we couldnt find him and he never moved when we looked in there for him....almost like he knew we were looking for him cuz' when we went back in there the 2nd time he jumped out at us like we was trying to make us jump!!!

That was the best thing about Vinny and Lulu PRE Gabby. Now she's slowly getting the idea that sleeping late is better!

Neither Bugsy, nor by two poodles do mornings - no way, no how, not them!!! I usually have to get up around 7:00 on weekday mornings, but not them. Brandy and Bugsy don't even open their eyes, Romeo will usually open just one, look at me like I am out of my mind and goes back to sleep. On the weekends the lazy bums will sleep in till 9 or 10 without any problems. And no, they don't need to go potty as all three got iron cast bladders and holding it in for 10 to 12 hours doesn't seem to bother them. lol

Abby likes to sleep in, too. She will stay in bed as long as I do whether it's seven or ten - if I'm in bed so is she! And since I don't have to go to work - I am thankful since she hasn't always been this way!

I have to grab Henry from the bed and carry him to the front door to leash him. Otherwise he will sneak under and behind the bed for just a bit more shut eye, but I gotta get him outside!
How do they hold it so long?
