Boys are scheduled for surgery

My boys are scheduled for surgery in the morning and I am so nervous. I don't know why this is troubling me so much. It needs to be done but they seem so young. Perhaps it's because they are so little. But six months is about right? I also have a Saint Bernard and he was castrated very early. I will be on edge all day until I can pick them up. Does anyone remember how long it took for their boy to get back to normal? Thanks

Trudy, mom to Einstein,Watson and Griffin too!

awww, big hugs, Trudy. I'm sure the boys will do great and it will be much harder on you than it is them.

Chico was normal as soon as we got him home. We had trouble keeping him quiet.

Mine were groggy the first day or so and then it was all I could do to keep them from running and playing!

Ask the vet to call you when it's over and they're awake, even if you can't pick them up for a few hours. At least you'll know they're all done.

Go shopping or out to lunch, try to do something fun while you're waiting!

True what everyone says, it's worse on you than them. They will do just fine.

Just dropped them off...
Watson was happy-go-lucky as ever and Einstein knew that something was up. Waiting for the call...
