almost a shocking experience

Sophie has been so good at not chewing anything but toys lately. So I am vacuuming tonight and needed to go get something. I didn't think much of it but Im' always in worried mommy mode so thankfully had half a brain to unplug the vacuum even though I'd be right back.

This is what I came back in to! I was speechless all the things that could have happened to her running through my head....thankfully she's not one to swallow things she chews up so I don't think and it doesn't look like much if any is missing. But I will be kicking myself for a long time, good lesson learned!

(I wasn't mad at Sophie at all not her fault and once I knew she was ok made me laugh)

Oh no!!! Looks like Sophie was keeping busy while you were away....Thankfully the vacuum was not plugged in! Now I'm thinking about all our electric cords.

Oh no. Lola has also never touched anything in the house. The past couple weeks, she's started She chewed the edge of my Kindle, and fortunately only got the case, and I found her going for my phone. She's got plenty of chew toys, but I now have to watch her more closely.

Oh Dee Dee. How scary and how awful that could have been! I've always worried about electrical cords, but what do you do?! Just keep an eye on the little guys I guess. I'm so glad you had the foresight to unplug the vac before you left the room. So far, Willow has been ignoring cords.

Oh my ... I can't even find words. That would have broke my world not only if it was my puppy but anyone else. I am so happy she is ok. Good lesson for everyone!

Wow! Thanks for the reminder that these little guys can find new ways to get into trouble. You start to get used to what kind of mischief they like and start assuming they aren't interested in other things, then something like this happens. Thanks again for sharing!

Pixel rarely chews, but when she does... PANDA, OTHO, is a chew monster. I spend the day with a bottle of Bitter Apple in my hand so I can spraywhatever she tries to chew next! We've started calling her "Pandamonium"
