Marking inside the house?

Muthu got a new bed 2 days ago and this morning I noticed a pee stain on his new bed. He hasn't had an accident in well over 1/2 a year, so I feel like this is probably marking behavior. He's never marked any of his things before, and he's not allowed to mark on walks, though he is allowed to mark at the park. I'm not really sure how to go about making sure this doesn't happen again, especially since I didn't catch him. I washed the bed twice, is it safe to give it back to him? I'm not sure what to do and I want to stop the behavior before it becomes a problem. He's about a year and a month old now if that's relevant at all.

I would apply Nature's Miracle on the bed probably all over then allow to dry. Possibly wash again then try giving it back to him.
