Posing

It is really eerie how Sophie loves to pose (and wear clothes) as much as Hallie did...she does things Hallie used to, on her own! I have to physically pick her up and off the "set" when we're done she doesn't want to stop.

Love love love! I'm thinking I need to book time with a photographer. I did with Watson for X-mas, with a photographer the doggie day care brings in once a year, when he was about six months old, and I got only one great photo out of it. It ended up costing$400, and that seemed a bit much for what I ended up with. Looking at the photo now, it was so worth it. It's my only good puppy pic of him. Maybe it's time for a family photo. Too bad Ivan the Terrible, a stray cat I've had for ten years and my biggest cuddle bug, would NOT be into it.

Yes, it's definitely worth doing. I've done it a couple of times with mine... (There is often a professional photographer at the bigger trials, and they sometimes bring a studio set-up. This is one taken by a friend of mine. He's a professional who wanted to branch out from weddings and senior photos into pet photography, and wanted Kodi as a model. He took this one of the two of us, and I LOVE it!!!

Sopie is just amazing!!! Maybe the posing is something you inadvertently encourage, who knows! She is probably so in tune with your moods and she knows that it makes you happy when you take her picture. And yes, the photos couldn't be any cuter!!!

Sophie is just a charmer. You know, there are some people who believe that a dog's spirit remains with you. Maybe Hallie is somehow teaching Sophie!

I agree it's worth every penny although you really should have gotten a CD full for $400! So glad you got the one. Could you post it would love to see!

Karen that is priceless of you and Kodi! His expression is perfect and love how you are both leaning away but still are connected. Great shot! I wish you lived closer too would love to be able to photograph those 3.

Zoe you could be right and I think the treats and play time feed into it big time lol!

I totally believe that too Jackie!

Thanks Sheri. She's just an easy girl to photograph. The chin on the chair I asked her to do "chin" I only ask her to do it for a short time to get the shot those bright eyes are because she knows any second she's getting a treat and a YEAY and play.

I have a client coming today for a shoot a sweet little Havanese girl. Anxious to meet her!
