SA breakthrough!

Oh I am sooooooooo happy!! We record Piper once in a while to see how well she does when we are gone. She had been doing better but still screaming at times. Tonight we were gone for 3 1/2 hrs. and I had the recorder on. Well she never, ever whimpered, whined or screamed the whole time....well just a bit of a whimper when she heard our car in the driveway, that was the last of the recording. I want to scream it to the world
For all of you that have struggled with SA I know you understand how happy I was to hear silence this time! She just turned 6 months old so I feel blessed to have it going so well at this stage.
I just had to share the good news. There is hope.

way to go. What a relief ehh? I knew Molly wasn't too bad when she just watched us go out from the top of the stairs.

Dave she used to scream for 3 hours, constant and it broke my heart! This was full out howling and screaming. I couldn't even walk out the door so to be here, now is just a huge, huge, huge relief. It's the only dog I've ever owned that I had SA with and I hope to never have to again. I'm so proud of her tonight

Thanks everyone and good luck to those still struggling. What a battle this is.

I am so happy for you! I know the feeling had the same problems with Casper, I use to get him a babysitter...

If you can record them while your gone it really helps, thats what encouraged me that my 2 havs were ok while I was gone. Because they were being good while I was gone
