Are your Havs crazy about ice like Izzo is?

Seriously, Izzo is crazy about ice cubes!!! If he hears the ice maker dispensing ice he makes a beeline for the fridge hoping you will drop a piece on the floor. He gets SO excited when you give him his ice cube! It's the funniest thing I have ever seen. If he already has his cube and takes off with it and you dispense more ice he comes running back for another. Havs are so funny! Just love my little guy!

My Drew is the same way with ice. He hears that ice machine going and he is at your feet wagging his tail. It is the cutest thing ever. You would think we gave him a T-bone steak and not just an ice cube. Little things make him Happy.

Benji and Lizzie run to the fridge whenever they hear the ice cubes being dispensed. Thye both get one each. It is so funny to watch them fighting over the ice cube the other has. Lizzie always runs with her ice cube to the staircase and sits there to eat. Crunch, crunch, crunch!

Just how messy/wet is such an adventure with an ice cube? Any worry of them hurting their teeth or choking??

yeah... seeing how its only water and eventually evaporates... we give havannah ice. She loves it. It's funny when we get a glass of cold water with ice... she pokes us with her paw after we are done... "Can I have the ice?"

I watch them when we give them the cubes to make sure they won't choke. Lizzie is a great chewer and crushes it to pieces in a jiffy. I throw Benji's cubes after he licks it for a few times isnce he rarely eats it.

The only thing Kodi likes better than ice cubes is his beloved milk bottles!

Yes, they are a little messy... in his case, he plays "hockey puck" with it for quite a while before he eats it, leaving a trail of water in his wake. So he is only allowed to have them in the kitchen or in his ex-pen.

Oh... and when we drive through Dunkin Donuts, and they offer me a munchkin for him, I ask for an ice cube instead. They think I'm nuts, but that's what he really likes, and it's much better for him. And yes, he gets his car bed a bit wet, but it dries quickly.
