Do you think dogs cry tears?

Just curious what everyone's thoughts are. I've noticed that Lucky seems to have the ability to "tear up" at times. (When he wants something really bad or when he's sad). I don't think it's because something is in his eyes, because he doesn't do it very often (maybe two or three times in the 9 months I've had him).

I know they can't....but I swear there are times when Jasper has been on the verge of tears...or so it appears. Perhaps, it is physical not emotional like us... that they get so worked up it produces physical tears that we attribute emotions too. That would be the "dogs don't feel emotions the way we do." answer. But I know they get jealous, get happy, get sad. So why not tears?

I am convinced that they cry, I've seen this happen several times with Gucci and if I leave her home alone, I always come home to a face full of tears and it doesn't happen when I'm here, so....yeah..I'd bet on it, I probably wouldn't believe otherwise. lol They cry, maybe not all of them, but mine does!!
