Raffi's TV Friend

Have you seen the Progressive Insurance commercial on TV with Flo sitting on the couch with her dog? As soon as Raffi hears it come on he has to get where he can see his "TV dog friend." He watches the commercial and talks to him then when the commercial ends goes on about his play. So funny!

Lola doesn't seem to notice any dogs on tv. Watson, my older non-hav dog, goes ballistic every time a dog barks on tv. He frantically runs around the house as if looking for it. I have to hit the mute button quickly or there is no peace. Oddly, real dogs outside only elicit a muffle woof or two.

My Dobe used to watch TV. He had favorite commercials that would either simply interest him or cause him to bark. I hated commercials with doorbells. Those elicited a certain level of temporary insanity around here.

Raffi has good taste. That really is a cute commercial.

This is so funny - I will have to look out for the commercial.

Henry has a few dog & animal friends on tv. Lassie. And he loves the Seabiscuit movie, he loves the horse racing.

That's funny. My Westie used to watch tv. She would go crazy every time she saw a horse or another dog. Rudy doesn't even look at the tv.

Mario has no interest in the TV anymore. Same with the mirror. After he realized that the TV was nothing but a picture and that the mirror was something similar, he lost interest in both. Occasionally I'll tap the mirror or point to the TV when Westminster is on, but he just gives me this look like "Yeah, guess what? I already know the trick". How superior he must feel to me

I echo the sentiments of those before me; try to catch it on video!

Sophie, Mario, and Nino.

Our current Cairn Terrier, Jasper, goes nuts if he hears a baby crying on TV. One dog trainer told us to flood him with baby crying sounds all day until he stopped. We looked for another trainer.
